Welcome! Take a peek into my classroom. I serve a diverse population of students who are receiving a modified diploma or certificate. These are students who may be impacted intellectually, have specific learning disabilities, health limitations, and /or below grade level performance in reading and math. I teach and reinforce important life skills that so many of us take for granted. It is in my classes that we work to gain valuable abilities that can be applied to school, work and daily life. We not only focus on preparing for the future, and making healthy choices, but I am tasked with identifying strengths in students that often feel they have none, and bridging deficits to better equip them for life beyond high school.
