Multiple green screen stations will be set up and used as students will be filming simultaneously.Students will be able to video reading their own writing, poetry, reading books, explaining math, test review, creating news casts etc. The play doh and puppets will be used to help animate the video. The green socks will hide the students' arms and the iPad stands will help with the video taping. Students being able to create technology instead of just consuming technology will help students understand the power of technology and how they can begin to use it in their academic and personal life. Students that are publishing work for others to see tend to be more creative and produce higher quality work. Creating videos for publication to our local school or global publication connects students to others and allows for extended collaboration and learning outside of our small rural community.
