Imagine a classroom where each student is heard, learns, feels safe and most importantly, feels successful each and every single day. That is what I desire to achieve as a teacher. I teach 9th Grade English and Freshman Seminar in an urban setting in Philadelphia. I have students that live in the Bridesburg area, and others that choose to travel over an hour, one way, to get to our charter school. My students are passionate and truly have a desire to do well in life. In addition to that, they are some of the most caring individuals I have ever come across. Since our school is very new, it is very difficult to finance all of the necessities the teachers need to do their job well. Which, is why, I reach out to you!
