My art students are invested in Improvement Science, discourse, and the well-being that art can foster. Although we are a small community, we have big ideas! Student-lead initiatives have included: creating eye-catching graphic solutions to promote recycling, live streaming a fluxus performance, and hosting inclusive lunchtime art activities. They are always seeking ways to include others in sharing their passion for art and community action. New student initiatives for 2017-2018 are a "bright spots" community mural and the development of an Art Smart discussion lounge. We hope that you will read more about the Art Smart Lounge and consider helping us to further our vision for a space dedicated to collaborative thinking and critiques!
