In my Geometry classroom on the West Side of Chicago, my students are primarily African American. 30% of my students have special needs, and many of them are several grade levels behind in reading. Still, my students are quick learners; and when they are engaged in a task, they arrive at intellectual conclusions, which often times surprise themselves. My school works hard to ensure that students have what they need to be successful. However, we still struggle to provide all students with technology in the classroom.

About my class
