It is such a blessing that I get to work with such wonderful and supportive students, families, and colleagues. Each year, I am inspired to give my students the very best to help them reach their highest potential. My 23 second graders are inquisitive, creative, and thoughtful students who come from unique and diverse backgrounds. They are an amazing group of lifelong learners who are dedicated to becoming independent thinkers and problem solvers through exposure to real life experiences. We are devoted to continuous learning and utilizing every opportunity to expand our minds while becoming productive citizens. With this in mind, I want to inspire my students with life's most essential skills including the understanding and application of knowledge in authentic and real life situations. This is an essential part of my job in preparing my students for college and career life in the 21st century.
