I teach 7th grade English Language Arts. It is a smaller public school housed in a large building with two other schools, one middle school and one bilingual high school. My students have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to our school floor. We are in a high-need community and have a major lack of resources, especially with the economic downturn.
