Every day I have the privilege of teaching Kinder-5th grade general music. My students truly enjoy all kinds of music and are very expressive. They are eager to learn and are contagiously optimistic. My school is Title 1 with most of the students qualifying for free or reduced lunch. A high percentage of my students qualify as Limited English Proficient. It is my goal to ensure that my students receive a comprehensive music education that includes singing, dancing, and playing instruments as a means to develop musical literacy.
