I teach a 9th grade rolling Humanities class. This is full year class that they can stay in through their junior year. They become a cohort group and tend to work as a community by the time they are in their junior year.

"This is really exciting! Just a couple of weeks ago I had resigned myself to the fact it wouldn't get funded, so this news is fantanstic. The book sits in a drawer in my desk and upon the news I pulled it out and started reading it again. I enrolled exactly 30 students in my class for next year and all of your donations will go toward grounding those 30 students in the importance dealing with the difficult and perserverance. Thank you very much."
"Thanks for your leadership and teaching from an appreciative alumn"

"Hopefully the funding for this book will bear fruit and I will be able to put in the hands of my students a real life example of persistance and perserverance."
"I donated because I want to support kids in Washington."

"Thank you so much for your donation towards my Daniel Keyes books. I will have many of these freshmen for two more years as I teach a rolling Humanities class. For them to to realize in our "instant download" society that process and persistence are vital for product performance will enable me to prepare these students to be leaders in our society."
"I helped because I'm a strong believer in Literature & Writing education."
