A picture is worth a thousand words. As an English teacher for ninth and eleventh grade students in a low-income community with a large population of language learners, I have learned that pictures can often educate students where words cannot. My school is a new charter school in a high-need community. We are dedicated to helping all of our students graduate and not only attend but achieve success in college.
