I teach general music in an elementary/middle school (Pre-K through 8th grade) in a high-needs community in a large urban school district. Our school works with approximately 400 students and has a large population of Spanish-speaking students and a focus on special education, including children with autism and emotional disturbances.

"We gave to this project because Sandra is an amateur pianist and we are very interested in promoting piano playing in the young people. Once you learn how to play a piano you never forget and can pick it up later in life. Sandra did. We give this gift in honor of our niece Laura Ashworth in Tampa, Florida.
