Many of my students struggle to have enough of their basic needs met, yet they come to class ready to discover the world around them. When faced with a challenging question, they are eager to research and ask lots of questions. Unfortunately, many of my students are unable to obtain the necessary supplies for school. All of my students qualify for the free breakfast and lunch program. Many of my students come from single parent homes, where they are responsible for younger siblings while their parent works. Two students are living in a local shelter. Still, my students deserve to have a quality education. They are wonderful kids that want to grow up to be teachers, lawyers, doctors, managers, athletes, and even the President of the U.S.A.
