My students are a group of energetic, rough and tumble little angels and everyday is new and exciting! Let's just say I get plenty of exercise. My school is located in a low socio-economic environment and the one thing we need more of is technology. Most of our students only have access to technology at school and it is limited. I currently have two computers in my classroom and it is just not enough to fulfill the usage demand. Everyday my students choose different learning centers during "Work Time" which is designed to help the students build developmental skills. Most if not all the students first choice is to use the computer. The only challenge with this is there are not enough computers and I end up having to set a timer in order for everyone to get an opportunity to work on it. If only there were more technology available!
