I am an intermediate Social Studies school teacher located in New York State. Many high school teachers doubted that 8th grade students could score well on a tenth grade History regents exam. My 8th grade students will be taking the 10th grade American History regents in June. This is the third year my class has done this and we have a ninety percent average passing score . No other 8th grade public middle school students are accomplishing this in my state. This is considered a great achievement.
