Over 80% of our students receive free or reduced price lunches. These students are inner city students who come to class excited to learn and be active. In order to keep this enthusiasm and positive outlook towards an active lifestyle, we need some basic equipment. These students are taught outside on our blacktop parking lot with very little to no shade. The intense heat combined with lack of equipment can be discouraging to the students. When you help these students, you are not only encouraging an active lifestyle but you're also providing some optimism about their circumstances.

About my class
