My students come from every tiny corner of the world. They speak many different languages and many of them have never been to a place like "school" before. My first job is to make sure they feel safe and happy at school. After that, they need to learn the English alphabet! The school my students attend is a Title-One school. Most of my students are eligible for free or reduced lunch. One of my main goals is to give my students as much exposure to the world as I can when they are in my classroom. I love the fact that my students come from every part of the earth because I can use that to teach them about celebrating and learning from one another. This definitely supports a positive classroom atmosphere and would not be possible in every school in the United States. I cherish the students who come into my classroom each day. They are eager to learn everything I can teach them and appreciative of all that I can give!
