My students are active, focused scholars, grades 1-6 and they prefer hands-on learning through questioning and discovery. They are researching past and present civilizations by designing their own independent and group investigations. They look at the world through the eyes of real scientists and they use the tools of a scholar to gain knowledge. The best way to learn about past and present civilizations is by becoming an Archaeologist and following the systems of Archeology. This project will put real scientific tools, materials and experiences in their hands and show them that science has a place in history and they have potential in both fields in the future.

About my class
