My students are middle school age students. I teach 6th and 7th grade science. I feel that students best learn when they are challenged to solve a problem. I use a lot of inquiry science in my science class to allow students the opportunity to problem solve and collaborate with each to solve problems. When my students are able to make connections between what they know and other content, I know that I have taught them a life long skill that will help them in their future. Our school is a K8 Center. We strive to challenge the students to achieve all that they can. We offer many opportunities for students to get involved in activities to give them an balanced education which is interactive, differentiated, and curriculum based.
