It crosses oceans, it crosses cultures, it crosses generations. It is the universal language. It is Music! In our rural county seat, our students rarely have the opportunity to attend live music performances. There are no symphony orchestras, professional Broadway touring companies, or live music venues. So, it is my task as music teacher to get them interested in music as an art form.
