I work with students who are low level English Language Learners. Often, they spend time in classes learning a language that they never get to apply. In my class, we speak, read, write, and create. What the students are missing is the opportunity to see themselves and their peers perform. This would give them the ability to both self- and peer-assess and turn every presentation into an opportunity for language growth and development.
