Gaining knowledge about biological sciences is crucial to our understanding of the world around us. Our students are future leaders and we want them to be as prepared as possible for any path in life they choose. My projects will always strive in some way to encourage and enrich the learning of my students in this very important field, whether it is to increase literacy or promote hands-on learning. The students at my school are part of a large student body: almost two thousand students from all different cultures and social backgrounds are in attendance, but the majority of them are low income and/or military dependents who are not originally from the area. Resources and assistance from our donors can truly open the door to new experiences and ideas for them that they may otherwise never have.
