Nearly five decades ago during a historic year of change, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led the Great March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, where he delivered his unforgettable "I Have a Dream" speech. In homes, classrooms and community centers across the country, Dr. King's words and life continue to inspire us and move us to act. Last year, Chase partnered with The King Center to make Dr. King's speeches, letters and other documents accessible to anyone with internet access. This year, Chase is continuing its support of Dr. King's vision and joining you to support lessons and school projects related to his dream.
Chase's philanthropic goal is simple - be the catalyst to meaningful, positive, and sustainable change within the highest-need neighborhoods and communities across the globe. In 2012, the company and the JPMorgan Chase Foundation gave more than $190 million to not-for-profit organizations around the world.
