Helping my students take a "leap" into knowledge and learning is a goal I pursue in the day-to-day classrom. I am a fourth grade teacher of the gifted. My class is composed of a diverse group of students who come from various cultural and economic backgrounds. My school is a Title I school servicing more than 70% of students who come from socio-economically disadvantaged homes and are on free or reduced lunch.
