More than 50% of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. These students already begin our high school at a disadvantage. Having access to these tools will provide our students with the opportunity to delve into complicated mathematical ideas both visually and mathematically. Most of my students do not own graphing calculators, which limits the complexity of graphs they are able to analyze, and puts them at a disadvantage when taking the SAT and AP Statistics exams. My students are hungry for knowledge and graphing calculators will help deepen their knowledge of mathematical concepts.

About my class
