Yearning To Live Vicariously Through Classics-Huck Finn

My students need 65 copies of "The Adventures of Huck Finn" so they can laugh at loud in the privacy of their own metaphorical rafts.

I teach English to critically-thinking 7th graders at a Title I school that lacks the necessary supplies to expose them to classic literature.

My students reside in an urban environment and they yearn to live vicariously through Huck Finn's river adventures.

If my students were able to have a copy of Mark Twain's classic, "Adventures of Huck Finn", then they will be able to step out of their current life-circumstances and into a more playful yet historically-based adventure.

Your donation will transport 7th grade students from their Title I school to the Mississippi River for a first-hand historical experience, while also satisfying their sense of adventure.
