Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Children learn in many different ways and it is up to the teacher to tap into their learning modalities and keep them engaged every single day.

My students are seventh graders.

I teach them math and science. All of the students are second language learners so not only do they struggle with content area but with English as well. They are eager, enthusiastic and always willing to learn. They love hands-on projects and working with new materials.

My Project

These resources, the "Write & Wipe" white board and markers will allow the students the opportunity to practice mathematical problems in a collaborative way. They can work individually and in groups. Students can share their work with each other and with me in a quick and effective manner. These resources will also help me quickly evaluate the students knowledge of different mathematical concepts daily.

Students success is very important to me.

My students are entitled to a good education. These resources will allow me to introduce work using a hands-on approach. Every child can succeed. Please fund my project.
