Our school is a K-5 elementary school in the inner city. My students are energetic first graders that come to our school ready to learn. They love to read and listen to stories.They like to write stories and read them to each other. Their favorite part of the day is working in small groups during centers. They enjoy using math manipulative materials. The students are cooperative and enjoy working together throughout the day.

My Project
The dry erase boards, markers and erasers will make a difference in the learning in our classroom. The dry erase boards can be used in both whole group and small group learning. The students will be engaged while writing their responses during math lessons. The students will be able to draw or write their responses. The students will use the dry erase boards to improve their math skills.
The boards will help the students with number sense and understanding of number grids.
The thin line dry erase markers and erasers will make the boards easier for the students to use.
