My Students

"A moment's insight is sometimes worth a life's experience." Oliver Wendall Holmes. The versatility of a document camera will help motivate and give my students access to new knowledge and skills on a daily basis.

I teach third grade in a public school to a tech savvy enthusiastic group of students who love to see and share examples.

My students are diverse learners with various strengths who would benefit from interactive images displayed on a document camera.

My Project

Document cameras actively engage students in the learning process. Visual learners benefit by seeing small items, text, and demonstrations. Hands-on learners can also benefit from the use of a document camera by allowing them to place objects or items under camera and explaining what they are showing. Another benefit of using a document camera is the decrease in copying expense.

There are numerous ways our class would use a document camera every day.

It would help my students better access the curriculum through improved math manipulative modeling, projection of photos and images like maps, sharing student writing samples, enhanced student oral reports and projects, cursive writing demonstrations, completion of graphic organizers for large groups, saving images for future use and and much, much more!
