My Kindergarten students attend an urban charter school which is in its first year and lacking supplies.
My 19 students are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of their time here at school. I would love to supply them with as much enrichment as possible.
My Project
Studies show that there is a 30-million-word deficit in young students who come from high poverty areas. We have been blessed by many projects that bring technology into our room. The only problem we are having is loading all the necessary things onto a computer.
Our computers at school are lacking memory or simply do not work. With this Apple laptop my students' Tag readers, iPod Nanos, audio stories, and songs could easily be accessed and uploaded onto their tools without any problems. Any step to bridge this gap is a step in the right direction! Will you help?
