My students need stability discs for their chairs to help students with balance, coordination and to help focus energy on learning instead of rocking their chairs.

My Students

How do you get 22 Kindergarteners to sit still and focus? Usually you can't--they need to wiggle and use energy. Some of my students have so much energy they have trouble focusing on their learning though and some wiggle seats are the perfect solution to focusing and being able to wiggle too!

I have 22 five and six year old students who are always on the move.

Many of them are on the free and reduced lunch program. Some of them have a difficult time sitting still during seat work time and are a distraction to the others who are working around them. These seats would help to use up some of that energy while also working on balance and stability.

My Project

Our wiggle seats or stability seats can be used in their chairs daily to help my students focus on their seat work to be ready for First grade. Many of them like to put their knees in their chairs and lean over their desks. Wiggle seats will keep their pockets in their chairs so that they have a good writing and reading position to be as successful as possible.

Getting the wiggles out and helping us focus will make us super learners!

We are practicing every day to be First Graders and with our new seats we will be ready. We are ready to learn!
