Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Well, look around-everybody uses technology. My students need to be exposed to a new way of studying, doing online research and presenting projects. The Kindle Fire and Cricut are there just for that.

My students come from homes where most parents can't afford to buy electronic devices that are becoming a way of life.

My fourth graders come from low income families and most parents speak little or no English. They are highly motivated students who enjoy reading and exploring new concepts. They initiate their own learning and are high academic achievers.

My Project

Kindle fire will encourage my students to read great literature, access online dictionary and do instant research. The Cricut will help them use their imagination and create unique projects in all subject areas. With Cricut they can cut letters, boarders, thematic characters, and much more.

Kindle fire and Cricut will enable my fourth grades to use their resources in a whole different way; using technology to improve their comprehension skills and work study habits.

Your donations are sincerely appreciated and will make an impact on my students lives.
