We Rock In Music But We Need Help Rollin'

My students need four rolling stands for our large bass xylophones and metallophones to maximize student learning time and minimize set up time.

My Students

What would you prefer? Spending most of your time playing instruments or setting them up? If you are like my students, you want to spend most of your time playing them! But playing time is sometimes cut short when we set up our large and heavy instruments that require multiple students to move them.

My students come to music once a week for forty minutes and we make every minute count!

They are eager to participate in singing,dancing, and of course, playing instruments. In fact, when students start setting up the instruments, their fingers are itching to begin playing. It doesn't even matter if they don't know what to play yet! They just want to play!! And by playing instruments they are learning to read pitches, read rhythms, improvise, and more!

My Project

With rolling Orff stands for our large instruments, we will be able to maximize our playing time even more. Instead of multiple students working to carefully maneuver those large instruments into a playing position, only one student will be needed. That one student will be able to safely bring out the instrument and begin playing in a matter of seconds. Not only will it be easier and faster for the older students to set up, it will also dramatically decrease the set up time for my smaller and younger students.

I'm always thrilled to hear the groans of my students when it is time to put the instruments away because it means that they have been working hard and loving every minute of it!

It doesn't matter the grade or age, my students love to learn about music by playing instruments! Your donation would mean more playing time and less setting up time.
