What is more fun than being able to do classwork on an iPad? My students don't think there is anything and I totally agree with them!
My students love to do anything hands on in class!
They also enjoy class projects, especially those that involve technology. I work at a technology magnet and I try to incorporate technology in all aspects of my teaching. Fridays are BYOD days, which means students bring in their devices to work in class. They love it! I strive to challenge my students in everything they do!
My Project
I plan on downloading many different apps for my students to use within the classroom. One of the apps they love is Nearpod! It's allows me to teach a lesson on the Smartboard and them to interact on their devices. The students are not able to move onto the next slide until I have changed my screen. It's a wonderful formative assessment to use when covering a new or even old topic! There are also other wonderful apps that we will use where the students can create their own story and make characters. I can't wait to bring out their imaginations while using the iPads!
These iPads will improve my classroom by allowing my students to always have a chance to use technology.
There are many of my students that do not have devices, and I would love for them to be able to have access to them at all times!
