My students need smocks to protect their clothing.

Every morning, my students come in ready to go, with a clean slate! Behavior and academics are stressed throughout the day, in a small environment. My goal is to have all of my students mainstreamed in an instructional setting. Every day, is a new day, with new challenges that have to be faced.
My classroom is a supplemental, emotional support classroom, with students in grades 1-3.
The school is located in a suburb, right outside of Philadelphia. The school has about 500 students, from grade 1-8. The students all have IEPs, with behavior goals. Each student has their own unique personality and their own needs, behaviorally and academically. They are a fun bunch of students, that love to learn, but need much direction. The students work for breaks and daily rewards. Many of my students come from single parent homes, and struggle with receiving attention and redirection from their parents. The parents are supportive, knowing that their child needs help.
These art smocks will be used during sensory time. Every week, my students have three stations of sensory materials. The students rotate every 10-15 minutes, to each station. We also have different art projects that the students like to make, and we are always looking for new materials to use.
These donations will help my students become independent learners.
They face many struggles throughout the day, and these donations will help with their concentration. I am trying to build a safe and well-rounded environment, and would like for my students to be able to experience as much as they can.
