My Students

My students are eager to learn. They have not been given opportunities to go to many interesting places. These audio book packs will get them reading so eventually they can travel by reading.

I have the sweetest group of 4th graders you have ever met!

They come from diverse backgrounds, and have diverse abilities. My challenge is to meet their diverse needs, and move them up from where they are academically. Our school promotes literacy, and despite the support it provides, I can do more for my students by putting audio book sets in their hands.

My Project

Students will be highly engaged by reading at their level along with a reader (provided by these wonderful audio book sets). Students will move closer to reading at grade level with the assistance of this wonderful resource. They will learn to track within the text and to become fluent readers.

This project will make a difference to my lowest readers and to other students who are auditory learners.

Your help means that I will be able to help more than one student at a time during our literacy block. Becoming better readers will help all of my students succeed in the future!
