Hello, I am a first year teacher of a 4th grade looping classroom. Looping means that I will have my same students next year for 5th grade. I was so very blessed with the best group of students!! They teach me something new everyday and I hope I do the same for them. I have 27 students who are full of zing! They love helping others, doing their best, and striving for success.

Being a first year teacher does put me at somewhat of a disadvantage with the amount of classroom materials that I have. I do not have an overhead projector screen so the students "try" to read what is on the overhead being shown on the "unsmooth wall". I also would love to have enough dictionaries so at least the classroom can all have access to one in groups of two. Hopefully one day I can get enough for all of them but starting with half will have to work, but I know we can make it work.

In receiving the these items I feel will greatly enrich my students daily educational opportunities times 10! We struggle with making do with some materials. Think if we had the ability to actually SEE what is being presented over the overhead and then getting to use the dictionaries that are such a vital resource. I just think that the possibilities are endless!!!
