My Students

My students face many challenges in their lives, learning how to access technology and being able to have visual supports in the classroom can only help them succeed in and out of the classroom setting.

I teach an amazing class of 10 students with Autism.

They all have so many different skills and needs. Some of my students are just learning to talk and some are learning to master academic and social skills. They make me smile every day and I want to give them all the tools they need to be successful in school and life. Most students with Autism can benefit from visual supports in the educational setting.

My Project

I am requesting a projector to provide visual supports in conjunction with technology. The world today is so technological and the Internet has many resources for teachers and students. In order to display visual supports in the classroom I need a projector to allow all students to see images, learning activities and books without struggling to see.

It is my goal to prepare these children for success in the academic and community setting.

My students face many challenges already and if I can provide them with visual supports to aide their learning they will have an easier time grasping concepts that most students can understand easily.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
