This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our 4th and 5th graders are ready to learn and experience technology in a new way!
The 4th and 5th graders at our school are immersed in technology.
Texting, making and watching YouTube videos, and playing video and computer games.. this is the future! These students are eager to learn technology skills that will help catapult them into the future of computer science. With limited funds in our particular area we are in need of community support.
My Project
Our Technology Club will use this video equipment to learn how to produce and edit videos. Students will work in teams to create videos to raise awareness about an issue in the school community. Students will work with the provided cameras to record video and then work with Windows Movie Maker to edit their work.
This camera equipment will enable our students to learn skills that will be vital in the fast pace world of technology.
These students will be able to experience using equipment that would regularly not be available to them. These skills will help them in future grade levels and when they enter the job force.
