Title: STEM Out and Learn Through iPad Technology
I am seeking to incorporate STEM learning in my classroom. My goal is to help students become highly proficient in the language of art by using technology to develop critical thinking skills, such as analyzing and synthesizing, intrinsic to STEM.
My Students: Art is not just about making an artwork.
It is about aesthetics, culture, and history. My students are eager to use technology to discover more about art through the higher order thinking and synthesizing that comes through the bank of knowledge available through technology.
My students are bright, fun young adults. They are ever finding ways to incorporate technology in their daily lives and I am seeking to help them utilize technology in art to deepen their understanding of this exciting subject.

My Project
My Project: My students need a classroom set of 7 iPads. Students will use this technology to participate in classroom critiques by using great interactive apps such as Nearpod, which allows real time feedback. The iPad will also be able to access demonstration videos for any classes they missed. Students can also take quizzes on the iPad and receive instant feedback through the use of Skyward and Canvas.
Science will also be incorporated in art class as we can use apps such was 'Essential Skeleton' to not just draw anatomy, but like artists of old to understand how the body functions.
Engineering and art have been successfully intertwined for centuries. From the Pyramids of Egypt to the Golden Gate Bridge. With a classroom iPad, students can access these wonders through Goggle maps. They can learn of their history, origin and design which intern can help them with their own sculptural and 3-dimensional artwork.

This donation will change my classroom as students will see a more interactive side to art history and aesthetics.
Art will literally come alive as they navigate through art and science, art and engineering. Students' lives will be better are their breadth and depth of learning Art will increase
