My Students

My students are running a business in my classroom! They receive invoices and other items daily. They need a mailbox for each of them.

My students are interested in pursuing business.

They are running a virtual business in my classroom right now. They are motivated and very responsible. They come from a variety of backgrounds. The majority of my students receive free or reduced lunch. They attend a large high school in South Carolina.

My Project

We are requesting a Safco 24 Compartment Value Literature Sorter. This will serve as a mailbox for all of the members in the class. Each student in this class has a specific job to do. They may be in charge of creating invoices for our sales. Once they complete the invoice, they will pass it off to the accounts receivable clerk who also is the banker. They will add it to our accounts receivable schedule and then check the bank for payment. Everyone in the class needs a place where other students can send them work. This will also help teach the students valuable organization skills.

This class is so wonderful because it teaches students how to work out there in the world!

The students need to have an office atmosphere that mirrors the real world. A mailbox is just a simple touch that will help! Thank you for considering this project!
