How can future doctors and scientists learn about the body from textbook pictures? My students are very excited about science and need to explore their interest through a hands-on approach to learning.
My students are in a highly gifted program and are in special need of more rigor than standard books can provide.
Many of my students aspire to be scientists and I would like to promote rather than dampen their passions. They are excited about learning and always need to be motivated and challenged with new and different approaches.
My Project
These dissecting tools, trays and frogs will give my students the opportunity to understand how different body systems work together to maintain life. This is an important unit in the 7th grade Biology curriculum that we simply cannot learn from textbooks alone. I need to supplement the unit with this essential and exciting lab approach.
