My Students

Do you know how hard it is to put a wonderful book down? Whenever we start Melissa Forney's Teddy Bodain, these kids get so excited. They never want me to stop reading.

We are a charter school in Florida.

My group of fourth grade students are wonderful. They try hard, they want to succeed, and they are very appreciative of what they receive. I want to be able to give them one of their favorite things they have read this year- a book of Teddy Bodain. They truly deserve it.

My Project

I am requesting 21 student copies of "The Astonishing Journey of Teddy Bodain." Most of the students in my class said that this is the best book they ever read. They told me that if they could request one end of the year gift, it would be a copy of this book. They want to be able to share it with their parents, siblings, and friends. Of course, they want to reread it many times, too. This is an amazing book about a young girl's travels through Florida in 1892. It is so educational and entertaining. I really want to be able to give this to my students.

Any donation to this project would be greatly appreciated.

If there is one thing these students want, it is a copy of this book. The students, as well as myself, thank you for any amount that you can give.
