Teaching Diversity with Creativity

My students need a variety of Cricut Cutting supplies for a diversity project.

My Students

Each of my students is diverse and unique in their own way. This project will give my students a chance to celebrate their diversity and learn more about their fellow classmates.

I teach four different classes to 7th and 8th grade special education students.

My students' ability levels range from 1st grade up to 6th grade with a variety of disabilities. The majority of my students are on free and reduced price lunch. Despite everything, they come to school ready to learn each day.

My Project

My students need a variety of presentation and art supplies to create projects dealing with diversity. Each student will use these supplies to create a presentation about their family tree. They will research their families and where they came from. The Cricut supplies will be used to create and embellish their presentations. This project will show my students just how diverse their classmates really are.

With the help of Price-Waterhouse Cooper and your donation, I will be able to show my students how unique and special their families are.

In addition it will teach them about other cultures. Please help to make middle school a diverse and enlightening place for my students to celebrate their unique cultures.
