My classroom is a high energy, fun, caring environment fostering the minds of the youngest learners in my school.
I teach a group of little minds who love to learn.
My students enter into my class at four years old and for most, this is their first experience in school. It is my job to provide these students with a love of learning they don't even know they have yet. I take pride in knowing I am laying the foundation for every students' academic career.
My Project
My students need STEM materials to build basic math, science, and engineering skills. I see in my students future architects and engineers who crave the tools to build and create the projects their minds hold. By receiving new STEM materials, my students will experience new centers that will allow for out-of-the-box thinking and exploration. Many of my students already have an interest in architecture and engineering. My goal is to take these interests and increase them to the 21st Century skills they will be expected to have later in their academic careers.
Currently, my classroom has no materials specific to STEM.
The addition of these materials would allow my students to explore the world around them in an entirely different way while building vital skills. I am a firm believer in providing every student with a strong educational foundation early in life. Adding STEM materials to my classroom will provide my students with the opportunity for an even stronger early learning foundation to be laid.
