This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need a little wiggle room at their desks.

My classroom is comprised of severely emotionally disturbed students who have lots of wiggles.

My students on a daily basis rock on their chairs on our hard tiled floor. Balance seats will help them get their wiggles out without risk on injury on the hard floor!

My Project

My students will have the balance disks on their classroom chair and have the ability to move with them around our room. Since many of my students have attention issues, these seats will help them focus on their learning and stop their constant rocking their chairs backwards.

This project will improve my classroom because my students will be able to focus on what they are learning.

My students have so much potential and can achieve wonderful things. They just need a little, "wiggle room," in our classroom.
