This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Doesn't every child deserve the right to learn in an interactive way through technology? Help my students access a fun math and reading center with an iPad! Currently, my class has no computers in it for students to use.

My school is located in New York City.

My third grade students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our school consists of students from grade K to 5. We are one of the largest schools in the city, which makes accessing technology for all students nearly impossible.

My Project

My students need an iPad to use in math and reading centers. These resources will allow my students to finally access technology hands-on. Since my students don't have computers in the classroom, exposure using an iPad for academic purposes will be a great experience! The iPad will enable my students to learn in a fun way. The iPad will be used for both literacy and math centers. Students will work in small groups on the interactive lessons together.
