This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imaging being a small child who is brand new to technology? How would you feel coming into the computer lab and not knowing how to work the mouse or the keyboard? Well this is exactly how my kids feel: frustrated!

My students are mostly students who come from low income families who came from other countries where they don't have a lot of technology.

Many of them do not speak English and have never used a computer before or even attended school, and they are learning to adapt to different things.

My Project

If the students had the mini iPads it will help them get used to surfing the web or playing games or doing classwork because it's small enough for them to hold and its easier than trying to work the mouse or the keyboard. It will teach them how to work with technology and be prepared in the future.

This day and age technology is moving faster then any of would expect and with school budgets being cut we won't have enough funding for these items.

I would just like to give my kids the opportunity to be prepared by today's technology.
