My Students
Do you remember your favorite book or playground game? Or realizing that, with practice, you could become an amazing musician? These are the types of experiences and motivation we want our students to have everyday!
We are a new public school located in Southeast, Washington, DC filled with curious little learners.
Our students are happy and energetic kiddos who love having new experiences and discovering all the things their minds and bodies can do. They love to read and be read to. They also love learning how to work as part of a team by playing and making music together.
My Project
With your generosity, our students will have access to grade-level appropriate classroom libraries, physical education equipment to foster healthy, active lifestyles and musical instruments to develop melody and rhythm. Our students are very eager for new experiences, which will be made possible with the addition of these resources such as Rosewood Orff Xylophones, Level A Nonfiction Book Sets and sack potato hopsackers.
