Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students need useful resources to help them understand landforms and mapping. Our social studies literature is very dry and boring. I would like to have materials that my students will love to do and learn at the same time.
My students come from a high poverty area but are determined to be successful no matter what circumstance.
They are smart and have the desire to learn and with your help, they can accomplish their goals. The majority of my students are kinesthetic learners and for that reason, I am asking for assistance in hands-on materials.
My Project
My students need fun and engaging material to bring learning to life. They love hands-on experiences, that will help them grasp mapping and landform concepts. Students will create landforms and will be able to explain its process and describe their changes to the environment. Students will be exposed to expository text and they will incorporate both expository and procedural writing with their projects.
Your resources will help me incorporating reading, writing, and science to our social studies lesson.
Please help me by providing these fun and engaging materials so that my students can be successful.
