Our school is largely diverse with students from many countries and dialects.
In turn, it can be challenging to reach some of the students without the use of technology and manipulatives. As professionals, we are a staff of teachers who are always meeting a to discuss various techniques that we could employ in the classroom. Education is not a fixed art, it is very dynamic, and as a team we are trying our best to facilitate our students.
The students in our school, are very enthusiastic and eager, and they respond very positively to new technology and to new ideas. The idea of making education fun and interactive has engaged our students, and is making them successful young adults.
My Project
With the addition of a multifunction color printer, students will be able to print and compile their group work. They will have the opportunity to express their ideas better, as well as be able to revise and continue projects that we start in class. It will also provide students with the supports that they need to print out work that they did at home, but lack a functional printer at home.
With the help of this printer, I will be able to print out DNA replication pieces, in color, to aid in students understanding of genetic coding. It will also help in students creating Biome projects, as well as printing out schematics of applications of Newtons three laws of motion.
The addition of this printer to the classroom, will greatly benefit the students by allowing them to use technology that is available.
It will benefit my students' education by giving them the tools to create work that they can be proud of. They will be able to spend time on their assignments and use their minds creatively, instead of wasting their efforts on how to print their work.
